Greenville Colorants to Build a Technical Center in Dalton, Georgia

Colorants, the largest independent colorant company in the U.S. and
headquartered in New Jersey, has acquired a permanent site for its carpet and
rug colorant business in Dalton, Georgia. It is the fastest growing dye company
in the America. It operations in Clifton, New Jersey; Jersey City, New Jersey
Greenville, South Carolina; Dalton, Georgia; Weston, Wisconsin; and Ontario,
Canada along with warehouse locations throughout the Americas. The company is in the process of constructing
a carpet technical center at the acquired site, together with installation of
some navel and better process equipment. The operational activities at the new
facility will begin by July 1. The dye production will still continue to be
performed at the Greenville, South Carolina facility. Future plans may include
a production site in Dalton for a new, non-colorant product line.
