Solenis LLC Decided to Acquire Lostris International and Wester Blend

Netherlands: Solenis, a U.S.-based manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals has agreed to acquire shares in Lostris International B.V. and Wester Blend B.V., Netherland based specialty chemical manufacturers. The acquired companies specialize in manufacturing and supplying chemicals to pulp & paper and towel industry. The acquisition is expected to complete by June, 2016. Lostris is concentrating on manufacturing defoamer formulations, pitch dispersants and scale control chemistries for the pulp market, this would help Solenis in strengthening its position in global pulp & paper industry. The deal would bring Solenis LLC, Lostris International and Wester Blend together help the companies in addressing the needs of their customers in a better way with wide product portfolio. Additionally, the deal would augment the growth and development of innovative products.

TechSci Research depicts that this acquisition would strengthen the market position of Solenis LLC, Lostris International and Wester Blend in global specialty chemicals market.
