Dowco Plans to Acquire Plastics and Seating Manufacturer

United States: Dowco, a market leader in designing, manufacturing and sourcing textile and leather and hardware for the marine market, has announced the acquisition of Premier Plastics, a custom rotational molding and thermoforming plastics manufacturer focusing on manufacturing parts for the recreational and marine industry. The company currently operates from a 35,000 sq. ft. facility located in Minnesota and a second facility in Eveleth, Minn. The business strategy would allow the company to expand its capabilities with the existing customer base and also add towards meeting the needs of potential customers by building relationships with Premier’s strong customer base. Premier Plastics and Leisure Designs would continue to serve customers and function their manufacturing operations as usual.
