M. Holland to Acquire Able International and Tril Export

United States: M. Holland, a US based distributor of thermoplastics resins, has inked a letter of intent to acquire two global resins distributors, namely – Tril Export and Able International. The former caters to the growing demand for thermoplastic resins in Central and South America, while the latter serves customers based in Puerto Rico region. Both the companies serve more than 100 customers across the globe and record sales of around 50 million pounds from thermoplastic resins annually. The product portfolio of the two companies includes a broad array of commodity and engineering resins. The deals are expected to be completed by the end of April, 2016. On completion of the acquisition of the deal, Tracy Coifman, President of Tril Export and Able International, would continue to lead the businesses. The acquisition would allow M. Holland, which already caters to about 4,000 customers, to improve its presence globally.

TechSci Research depicts that the acquisition of Tril Export and Able International would enable M. Holland to expand its reach to the growing markets in Latin America through the strong sales channel of both the acquired companies. Additionally, the deals would aid M. Holland to cater to the growing demand from the engineering plastics industry across the world.
