KSB released twin pump design as part of Calio Series

KSB Aktiengesellschaft, a Frankenthal-based company, has launched a two-in-one Calio glandless pump for heating and air-conditioning systems. These twin pumps are expected to be more beneficial as they fulfil reliability requirements and occupy less space. The work load would be equally distributed on both the pumps as they would work one after the other, continuously for 24 hours. When one of the pumps would be on stand-by mode, the other would be in working mode. These pumps could be used for heating water as well as for coolant transport and industrial recirculation systems as fluid temperature range from -10 °C to +110 °C.

The pumps are capable of processing common building services, fitted with the required interfaces as standard signals. The automation system could be linked with the help of integrated Modbus interface. The twin pumps have integrated constant-pressure control, proportional-pressure control and fixed speed operation systems coupled with Eco Mode which would be an economic energy-saving system and thus beneficial for the end user.

TechSci Research depicts that new Calio Z twin pumps series being compact, reliable and always ready for operation is expected to exhibit robust grow on account of growing demand for pumps in the heating and air-conditioning systems (HVAC) segment.

According to the recent report published by TechSci Research, “Global Water Pumps Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2020", centrifugal pump type has been the dominant segment across global water pumps market and the trend is expected to continue. The water pumps that are deployed for HVAC systems is a part of non-industrial end user segment for centrifugal pumps. The release of twin pumps is a part of product innovation, as companies are looking forward to sustain their market share in the water pumps market and particularly in centrifugal pumps segment.
