Mahindra Group will be setting up a Mahindra Ag Tech Center at Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in the United States. The facility will be creating revolutionary technology products for the agriculture market in North America.

United States: The world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume, Mahindra & Mahindra, has recently announced that it will be setting up a Mahindra Ag Tech Center at Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in the United States. The facility will be creating revolutionary technology products for the agriculture market in North America.

The President for Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra Group believes that the company aims to lead in technology and innovation to improve the lives customers. The innovation initiative is being called FutuRise. The association with Virginia Tech will enable Mahindra in staying ahead globally. Mahindra has a strong presence in the United States and stands third in the 0-120 horsepower tractor category.

The President & CEO for Mahindra, North America commented that the path to customer satisfaction and success in North America is expected to come by providing the dealers and customers with pioneer products and solutions, which enhances the brand differentiation of the company in the market.

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector intends to forge into the U.S. technology network at Virginia Tech by establishing a hi-tech R&D facility at Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. The Mahindra AgTech Center will complement the work done in product development centers at Mahindra Research Valley in India, Japan and Finland to create product solutions for farmers globally.

Mahindra will also be collaborating with Virginia Tech researchers on developing new generation farm equipment and work on the latest technology that foresees grape-picking robots and GPS communicating tractors and repair shops.
