NOIDA, India | August 27, 2026: WACKER Chemie AG has established a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Pune, India, in collaboration with HCLTech, marking a new phase in the specialty chemicals and biotechnology company’s global transformation strategy. The center is intended to support WACKER’s engineering, IT and digital transformation priorities while creating a more agile, resilient and scalable delivery backbone for the company’s global operations. The move also expands the strategic relationship between WACKER and HCLTech, with HCLTech bringing its GCC-building expertise, DevSecOps capabilities and automation-led operating model to help WACKER strengthen governance, improve execution efficiency and build a future-ready team in India.
