AleraCare and PURE Healthcare to Merge, Creating Leading U.S. Ambulatory Infusion Platform

AleraCare and PURE Healthcare to merge, creating a 75-location nationwide ambulatory infusion leader enhancing access and outcomes.

Phoenix & Taylorsville, Utah: AleraCare, a prominent provider of infusion and specialty pharmacy services, and PURE Healthcare, a national medical group specializing in complex chronic and autoimmune conditions, have announced a definitive agreement to merge. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The combined organization will operate more than 75 outpatient infusion locations across 14 U.S. states, offering an expanded network to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care. The merger aims to enhance patient outcomes, improve access to infusion services, and reduce overall healthcare costs.

Founded in 2019, AleraCare operates ambulatory infusion centers, home infusion therapy, and specialty pharmacy services, maintaining strong partnerships with physicians, payors, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. PURE Healthcare, established in 2018, is known for its Pure Infusion Suites—private, patient-focused treatment spaces designed to improve comfort and affordability, while streamlining administrative processes for providers and insurers.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2025, pending regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, including clearance under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act. Holland & Knight is advising AleraCare, while PURE Healthcare is represented by Kunzler Bean & Adamson, with Cantor Fitzgerald serving as financial advisor.

According to TechSci Research, the merger between AleraCare and PURE Healthcare is poised to significantly benefit the U.S. healthcare industry by creating one of the largest and most accessible ambulatory infusion platforms in the country. With over 75 outpatient locations across 14 states, the combined entity will expand access to high-quality, cost-effective infusion therapy for patients with complex chronic and autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease. By integrating AleraCare’s established network and specialty pharmacy services with PURE Healthcare’s patient-centered Pure Infusion Suites, the merger will enhance clinical outcomes, improve patient comfort, and streamline the treatment process. The expanded scale will also foster stronger partnerships with physicians, payors, and pharmaceutical manufacturers, enabling more efficient care coordination and lowering overall healthcare costs. Furthermore, the combined expertise in managing authorizations and administrative processes will reduce provider burden, ultimately ensuring a more seamless, patient-focused infusion therapy experience nationwide.
