H.B. Fuller Completes First Phase of Expansion Strategy in India

H.B. Fuller concludes the first phase of USD20 million investment to strengthen presence in industrial adhesives industry

India: H.B Fuller has announced the inauguration of its new office in Pune, India and a new R&D center at its manufacturing facility in Shirwal. The company’s CEO, Jim Owens inaugurated the facility, concluding the first phase of USD20 million planned investment in India. The plant has a capacity of 24,000 metric tons per annum and is located about 65 kilometres away from Pune. The facility is spread across a 5000-sq. ft. area in Shirwal. The company believes that this expansion would help them serve the customers better and would help in increasing its foothold in India in industrial adhesives field.

Techsci Research depicts that the expansion would increase H.B. Fuller’s capabilities and market presence in the India adhesives market. The company can also target neighbouring developing countries and increase their revenue. This is the first phase of investment by H.B. Fuller and if proved economic, this would also attract further investments from the company in the near future.
