Scan Technologies Invested in Biggest VRF Air-Conditioning Installation in Sri Lanka

Scan Technologies Global (Pvt) Ltd. has secured the installation of GREE VRF Air-Conditioning systems in the heart of Colombo city.

Colombo: Scan Technologies Global (Pvt.) Ltd, just after the inception, has secured the installation, testing & commissioning of GREE VRF Air-Conditioning systems of Astoria project (under construction) in Colombo along with a ten-year contract of maintenance of equipment. The ASTORIA in Colombo – 3 is a project developed by AVIC International, which is an extension of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, a reputed Global 500 Company. China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is the main contractor of Astoria comprising 4 towers, with 42 floors in each tower.  GREE Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai, China is the manufacturer and supplier of 1,000 GREE VRF Air-Conditioning systems with over 4,000 Indoor Units for Astoria project. The installation of GREE VRF air-conditioners are progressing well at Astoria.

TechSci Research depicts that Scan Technologies is being incorporated to meet the challenges faced by the construction industry in Sri Lanka and is focusing to provide a quality installation and after sales service with the help of their factory trained young engineering team and skilled technicians. The company also wants to meet the construction target dates of projects scheduled to come-up in Sri Lanka. Moreover, growing acceptance of air conditioners as a utility product rather than a luxury product along with growing construction activities in hospitality and tourism sectors coupled with increasing investments by governments across various countries are anticipated to propel demand for air conditioners not only in Sri Lanka but across the globe during the forecast period.
