Hinduja National Power announced commissioning of 1.04 GW power plant in Vishakhapatnam
India: Hinduja National Power commissioned 2
units of 0.520 GW each in Andhra Praesh making it a power surplus state. The
power generated from the plant will be supplied to Southern and Eastern Power
Distribution companies of Andhra Pradesh in order to cater the growing
electricity demand from industrial regions in Vishakhapatnam region which has
seen a tremendous growth in economic activities. Hinduja National Power
identifies Power sector as one of its focussed area and plans to deploy power
plants with an installed capacity of 10 GW with an envisaged investment of USD
12-14 billion in the coming years.
TechSci
Research depicts that the rapid expansion of generation plants would give a
major boost to the power evacuation infrastructure needed to supply generated
power to the demand areas. It would result in the expansion of power
transmission and distribution lines. The implementation of transmission and
distribution lines will eventually surge the demand for Power and distribution
transformers market as it forms a critical component of power evacuation
infrastructure.
According
to a recently released report of TechSci
Research, “India Power & Distribution
Transformers Market
