RPG Life Sciences has announced to enter into cosmetology in collaboration with Italian cosmetic manufacturer Labo Cosprophar

which has moved into a technical collaboration with Italian Cosmetic
manufacturer, Labo Cosprophar which had licensed two research-based
products to be launched in the Indian cosmetic market in this July. A Separate
division is said to be created to market these unique products titled Crescina
and Fillerina, specializing in hair-fall control and anti-aging,
respectively. The Crescina is a global product which was designed for
hair-regrowth and has obtained nine patents around the globe. The product
activates hair follicle stem cells which helps in growth of new hair and the
peptides & hydrolysed ingredients provide strength to hair which would
allow the hair to remain strong for a long time. The other product Fillerina is
designed for anti-aging treatment and has obtained a Swiss patent. The product is
the first dermo-cosmetic filler which can be used externally. It is made out of
a mix of filler gel and nourishing cream which, when combined, results in
uplifting aged skin and the company has claimed that the results would be
visible in two weeks.

Research, the consumers from Indian cosmetics industry have come a long way.
Some years back the consumers in India was satisfied with simple red lipstick
and black kohl eyeliner, but now the trend in cosmetics industry is changing
and consumers want the whole package, which includes products ranging from hair

things for women, have now become a part of grooming routine. Therefore, the

optimizing their sales, by focusing on product development and innovative
packaging to lure more customers. Companies are also roping in different female
icons to feature in their product advertisements, as the aspiration to look
more like their celebrity idols has been a major factor encouraging sales of
cosmetic products in the country. Major players in women’s cosmetics market
include HUL, Procter & Gamble, L’Oréal and Himalaya, among others.
