Maxam Tire North America Expanded its Product Line

Las Vegas: The OTR and industrial tire specialist, Maxam Tire has added MS705 XD model to its MS705 solid skid-steer product line in North America. While devising this new model, the company has used “cut-resistant natural rubber compound” which is bonded to carbon steel wheels.

The new model offers several features and benefits to the customers. The tire offers same tread depth and wider foot prints as offered by MS705, however, the new model offers enhanced driving comfort. As per Tim Good, Sales Manager for Maxam OTR tires, “the MS705 XD provides all the benefits of a solid skid-steer tire, with the convenience of a bolt on assembly that requires no specialized equipment for mounting.”

Maxam has been showcasing its new tire at booth #5303 at the 2016 Waste Expo, which is scheduled at Las Vegas Convention Centre from June 7 till June 9, 2016. Furthermore, the company has also introduced its MS708 Solid OTR tire model along with the MS405 E4/L4 radial OTR tire for articulated dump truck and loader applications.

The new model MS705 XD is expected to be available by July 2016, whereas, the MS405 and MS708 models are available at Maxam’s Long Beach, Calif., and Memphis, Tenn., distribution centres.

According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “United States Tyre Market Forecast and Opportunities 2020” replacement tire segment accounted for more than 80% share in the United States tire market in 2014. However, the share of replacement tire segment is expected to decline over the forecast period, due to faster growth anticipated in the OEM tire segment. Passenger car tire segment accounted for the largest volume share of more than 80%, in the market in 2014, followed by light commercial vehicle, medium & heavy commercial vehicle, OTR and two-wheeler tire segments. Major tire players operating their tire manufacturing facilities in the US include Bridgestone, Goodyear, Continental, Pirelli, Michelin and Yokohama

As per TechSci Research, addition of new models in the product line of Maxam Tire is likely to boost its sales in the United States tire industry. As a result, it is anticipated that the market share of Maxam Tire in the United States tire market would increase over the coming years.
