Borealis Announced to Acquire mtm Plastics and mtm Compact

Europe: Borealis, one of the leading providers of innovative and novel solutions, which deals in base chemicals, polyolefin and fertilizer business has announced to acquire the mtm plastics, a plastic recycler. Mtm Plastics which based in Germany, is specialized in producing post-consumer polyolefin recyclates and recycling the post-consumer plastic waste. A great business opportunity within a broader sustainability agenda has been provided by plastic recycling in a developing market as disposal of plastics in landfills is too prized.
