Cooper Tire expanded its RoadProduct Line

States: The American tire maker, Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., is going to add RM332 WB heavy-duty
wide base tire to its established product line, Roadmaster, a brand for commercial
vehicle tires in size 425/65R22.5.
As per the company, the newly launched tire, Roadmaster
RM332 WB, is designed with a rib structure tread pattern that aims to withstand
the rigors of heavy haul driving, on or off-the-road. Moreover, the tire also
provides long tread life and even wear. The RM332 WB can be used in for mixed
service applications due to its steer axle design.
Roadmaster RM332 WB is framed with cut & chip
resistant tread compound to meet multiple performance requirements in diverse service
applications. Also, the tire is designed to preserve the casing for retreading,
which covers the curb bar on sidewalls and consequently promote durability to heavy
haul fleets.
The director of commercial vehicle and global
OE sales of Cooper Tires, Gary Schroeder stated that in today’s scenario, mixed
service applications are highly demanding and the newly introduced tire by
company, can perform extremely well for a wide variety of uses. He also added
that the company’s existing Roadmaster tire line provided long miles, under a strong
warranty. These advantages, combined with an attractive pricing, makes the Roadmaster
a great tire for customers looking to cut cost-per-mile.
According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “United States Tyre Market
Forecast and Opportunities, 2020” the country has the second largest automotive
industry with a motorization rate of more than 790 vehicles per 1,000
individuals, as of 2014. Also, it was witnessed that the country’s commercial
vehicles tire segment is likely to expand in coming years, due to the steady
growth in sales & production of segment automobile and expanding commercial
vehicle fleet.

among top tire players in the United States. Also, the company was witnessed to
directly catering to the demand of commercial vehicle segment of the United
States, by launching new tire sizes to the pre-existing tire line across the country.
This would assist the company to build its brand name further in the region.
