Kenda Tire to add sizes to existing Klever S/T KR52 tire

States: The American subsidiary
of Kenda Rubber, American Kenda Industrial Corp. has recently expanded its
existing tire range by adding 26 different sizes to Klever S/T KR52 tire line. As
per the company, the newly launched sizes of Klever S/T tire, would assist to fill
the gap of the SUV/CUV market. The tires would be available with M&S all-season
rating, under the warranty of 60,000 miles.
The company while defining various feature of
Kenda Klever S/T tire, explained that, the tire has been manufactured with an
advance engineering, posing asymmetrical tread design, which offers confident
all-season performance. Moreover, the improved tread design of tire provides a
long life, better riding comfort and a balanced performance in wet & snowy weather
conditions for almost all the SUVs and CUVs.
As per Kenda, Vice President, Business Development,
Brandon Stotsenburg, the Klever S/T line adds a great deal to the Kenda value
proposition. He also added that the tire was made targeting the young
professionals and families, looking to replace their OE tires for the first
time under convenient pricing.
The American based Kenda USA is a subsidiary
of Taiwan's Kenda Rubber Industrial Co. Ltd., which manufacture automotive tubes
for bicycle, ATV, motorcycle, wheel chair golf car, lawn care equipment,
trailer, skid loader and agricultural vehicles.
According to a recent report published by TechSci Research, “United States Tyre Market
Forecast and Opportunities, 2020” the country ranks among the top markets for
automotive industry, with a motorization rate of more than 790 vehicles per
1,000 individuals, as of 2014. Moreover, steady growth in sales & production
of vehicles, expanding automobile fleet and favorable government policies, are further
anticipated to propel growth to the United States tire market in coming years
As per TechSci Research, Kenda does not hold
a prominent market position in comparison to other renowned multinational
brands in US. However, the company is directly catering to the demand of the
largest tire segment of the country, i.e. passenger cars, by launching new sizes
to the pre-existing tire across the country. This would assist the company to
build its brand name eventually in the region, in comparison to other flagship
brands present in the US.
