When mounted appropriately, NICCI optimizes the signal in finger cuff prior to recording regular upper arm BP measurement for calibration and derives parameters providing valuable information about blood flow, preload, and contractility. The technology can be utilized for measuring blood pressure continuously in adults and paediatric patients above the age of 4.
