Parle Agro to spend INR 150 Crores on Advertising and Distribution
India: India’s largest food and
beverage company, Parle Agro, to spend INR 150 crores to increase its presence
in rural areas by giving more advertisement upon which company will spend INR
80 crore and the remaining INR 70 crore will be spent on expanding distribution
network.
The company has plans to expand sales
force by opening three lakhs more outlets to reach one million outlets in India.
Last year, Company’s flagship product, Frooti, which accounts for more than 50%
of company’s sales, went through a rebranding strategy. Also, the company
opened its 76th manufacturing facility at Sitaganj, Uttarkhand.
According to TechSci Research: Parle agro strategy to spend on advertising and
distribution will help the company to increase its presence in the Indian
beverage segment and ultimately, market share. The company should also focus on
digital marketing which will further help the company to increase their sales.
To maintain their dominance in the market, company should constantly strive for
innovation in all of their products.
