Axial inks deal with Old World Industries for distribution of liquid caustic soda

Corporation, a US based chemicals manufacturer has entered into an agreement
with automotive and heavy duty coolants supplier, that is, Old World Industries
for marketing liquid caustic soda across the US. Axial Corporation would
leverage Old World Industries’ supply chain network as well as customer service
activities for the distribution of liquid caustic soda. Caustic soda finds
application during the production of pulp and paper, treatment of wastewater,
as well as in manufacturing various chemicals. Additionally, caustic soda may
be used as an intermediate or reactant during the manufacturing processes of
plastics, solvents, dyes, inks, coatings, synthetic rubber, etc. Axial
Corporation operates in liquid caustic soda through chlorovinyl products segment,
under which the company produces chlor alkali and derivative products.
TechSci Research depicts that Axial Corporation, which controls four production
facilities for manufacturing liquid caustic soda in the US, is expected to
benefit from the partnership with Old World Industries and maintain leadership
chlor alkali market.

market for chlor alkali chemicals in India is broadly classified into three
