Mid-sized IT player Persistent Systems partners with IBM on Internet of Things
India: Pune-based Persistent Systems announced
its tie up with IBM on the Internet of Things by launching a specialised
engineering software suite for IBM Watson IoT Platform. Through this suite, the
engineering processes in Persistent Systems is expected to get a boost, and new
specialised consulting service is expected to integrate into the organization.
This
tie-up is considered to be a major step in driving the digital transformation
of enterprises and will help in building a long-lasting relation between the
two companies on the account of increasing development collaborations and
adoption of a wide range of technologies.
According
to the General manager of IBM Watson IoT Offerings, Mr Chris O’ Connor, the tie-up
will help the company in providing such tools and services to the organisations
which will boost their operational performance and increase their investments
towards the IoT which will help the customers in adapting to the data more
quickly.
Presently,
Persistent Systems have more than 1,000 engineers which are working on IBM
platforms including BlueMix, Continuous Engineering, and Watson.

huge amount of data in making quick decisions and thereby increasing the
operational performance of the organization.
According
