General Electric Corporation (GE) inks a deal for the supply of gas turbines to 1,600MW power plant project in Indonesia
Indonesia: Indonesia’s PT Pertamina and Japan’s
Marubeni Corp have entered into a contract with General Electric Company (GE) for
the supply of power generation equipment that includes gas turbines for a power
plant located in Java, Indonesia. This consortium will be Indonesia’s biggest
gas and steam power plant with an installed capacity of 1,600 MW. South Korea’s
Samsung C&T Corp will be providing the engineering, procurement and
construction services for this project. However, financial details are not
disclosed by the consortium.
