India, UAE join hands to deal with Cyber Security
India: Cyber Security has become
the key concern for the governments across the world. After the United States
President proposal for US$ 19 billion budget for cybersecurity last month, other
countries are also stepping forward to deal with cybercrime.
Recently, India and United Arab of
Emirates (UAE) agrees to corporate each other in cyberspace to increase the cybersecurity
of the nations. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two
countries last month and the Union Cabinet its ex-post approval for the MoU on
10th March.
According to MoU, the two countries will
corporate to combat cybercrime specifically in coordinating, exchanging
information and training cyber security investigating teams.
TechSci Research depicts that the two
countries would enhance the synergies between the cyber security teams of the
nations and would enable them to deal with cybercrime more efficiently. With
the increasing cybercrime activities, IT security has become a crucial factor
for nations. Countries such as India, China, Russia and so on which falls
under the top nations vulnerable to cyber-attacks, it is crucial for the
Governments to take concrete steps towards strengthening their cybersecurity
divisions.
According to the recent report published

2020”, global cyber security market is projected to surpass USD123 billion by
2020. Over the last few years, cyber security has become extremely vital for
public as well as private enterprises as cyber-attacks have become more
organized and sophisticated. In addition, the number of state sponsored attacks
across the globe has surged. The prime motives steering cyber-attacks are
monetary benefit and access to secret information of an organization. Thus,
companies and governments across the globe are increasing their budget allocation
towards cyber security and entering into collaboration to deal with the global
cybercrime issues.
