BKT to Debut Earthmax SR31 OTR Tyre Globally

India: OTR tyre major BKT tyre has announced that it will display its new tyre model Earthmax SR31 for the first time at Bauma 2016, which is an international trade show for mining, industrial and construction vehicles. The event is scheduled to be held at Munich, Germany during April 11-17, 2016.

The all new Earthmax SR31 is a steel radial tyre, designed in order to provide unmatched stability and strength while operating in the harsh conditions. The tyre also provides enhanced riding comfort backed by its non-directional rigid block pattern which enable easy maneuverability and greater traction. Moreover, the tyre offers low rolling resistance and longer running life powered by its heat-and-cut resistant tread compound.

Better fuel economy is one of the key demands raised by the OTR tyre customers across the globe. Hence, the company has devised this new model which provides better mileage and low operating cost. Wheel Loaders, Bull Dozers and articulated dumpers are few of the OTR vehicles for which the company has designed this model.

The recent report published by TechSci Research, “India Tyre Market Forecast and Opportunities, 2020” indicated that BKT, MRF, Apollo and JK tyre are few of the prominent players in the OTR tyre market of India. Backed by expanding product portfolio, the BKT tyre is poised to witness an increase in its market share in India as well as other countries across the globe.

According to Techsci Research, anticipated growth in the construction industry of India is poised to drive the demand of OTR vehicles such as wheel loaders and bull dozers. Expected increase in the demand for OTR vehicles is likely to support the OTR tyre market in India.
