BMW launches updated version of '3 Series' sedan in India for around USD52.90 thousand
India: German luxury passenger car manufacturer,
BMW, on Wednesday (27th January, 2016) launched an updated version
of its diesel-powered BMW 3 Series sedan in India, priced between USD53
thousand and USD66 thousand (ex-showroom Delhi). According to BMW India, new 3 Series sedan is domestically manufactured at the BMW
plant located in Chennai and can be booked at dealerships across India from 27th
January 2016 onwards.
According to the Philipp von
Sahr, President, BMW Group India, BMW 3 Series will set a new standard in
Indian automobiles industry through its dynamic characteristics and attractive
design. In Addition, petrol version of the BMW 3 Series sedan will be
launched later this year.
BMW 3 Series sedan, launched with
various features like twin LED headlamps, on-board driver information system,
park distance control, brake-energy regeneration, LED fog lights along with Professional
BMW Navigation System. BMW Company claim, 2.0-litre Twin Power turbo engine,
can be accelerate to 100 kmph mark in 7.2 seconds at an automatically limited
top-speed of 230Kmph.
The 320d Prestige
version of the BMW 3 Series
sedan is priced at around USD53 thousand, Navigation Sport & Luxury Line version priced at around
USD61 thousand and 320d M Sport trim version
priced at around USD66 thousand (ex-showroom Delhi).
