Kumho ready for new era of change

Saint Lucia: Kumho has undergone change of its headquarter from California to Atlanta, which was a huge breakthrough for company by shifting almost 80% of its staffs.

The company has planned to provide better service to its dealers through new products range, warehouses, factories and updated market programs as well.

Harry Choi, Kumho Tire North America president and CEO, was found chanting the anthem of Cha-Cha-Cha, all through the meeting which stands for challenge, change and chance.

Kumho has been working since long for the change it has achieved now, the company is ready to start fresh and provide better services to its partners. Kumho has revolutionised its product and accredited in North America now and is ready to begin a new era of business.

‘It means today our goal is to be better than we were yesterday’ said Jim Mayfield, executive vice president of marketing and sales for Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc.

According to Mr. Mayfield, the company has got aggressive plans for 2016, as they have done in 2015. The company is targeting more on making a better pricing strategy along with market intelligence to create a competitive edge for themselves.

The company has plans to boost its dealership network for a better penetration into the market. The company has planned to alter its decision making process and allow division sales head to work with its customer for better relation and less time consuming business processes, as earlier the decisions were taken only at the headquarters. Now, the headquarter will only monitor the business process and try to make it fast with its support. 

TechSci Research believes that the recent step taken by Kumho has not only repositioned its presence in U.S.A but also has given an access to a much larger market as they have many revitalised plans for 2016 and ahead.
