Zhongce Rubber Group introduced TBR Line at Thailand Factory

 Rayong, Thailand (Jan. 02, 2016) – The ZC Rubber Thailand unit which started its operation in June 2015 at Amata City Industrial Park in Rayong, has started the production of truck bus radial (TBR) tyres as a new product line. The ZC Rubber Company is based in mainland China and ZC Rubber Thailand is the company’s first overseas production unit.

Thailand is the world’s largest producer of rubber and setting up a manufacturing unit in Thailand complies with the company’s strategic policy ‘overseas production, overseas sales’.  The TBR production at this plant will serve to the demand of Southeast Asian market.

The production units cover an area of 570,000 square meters and also produces passenger car (PCR) tyres. The company has outlined to reach annual production capacity of 5 million units of PCR tyres and 700 thousand units of TBR tyres, by the end of 2016.

According to company’s official, the factory is aimed at producing premium TBR tyres featuring high mileage and savings in terms of fuel consumption. The unit would play a vital role in advancing the company’s image in the global market and enhance the product outreach.  

The new factory has got the advance technology equipment to reduce resource consumption and does well in saving energy and the environment.

TechSci Research believes that this step taken by Zhonce Rubber Group China is a critical milestone achieved by the company in the wake of internationalization. It will strengthen the company’s image as well as its position in Southeast Asia.
