TechSci Research believes that with the introduction of “odd-even” scheme for 15-days as a trial regulation by the state government, a clear picture could be formed for a future scenario to be followed in the capital of the country. During this period, all the radio taxi companies are trying their level best to cater the advantage of the rule plying in Delhi, wherein, the number of private cars would reduce drastically on-road and as CNG fitted taxis are exempted from the law, the companies could boost up the number of taxis on the roads for the convenience of Delhi citizens.

The recent report published by TechSci Research, “India Radio Taxi Market, 2020” depicts that radio taxi companies are already tapping Delhi market appropriately, due to the growing demand of taxis in the state. Yet with the introduction of this law, leading to a reduction in the number of private vehicles, the demand for radio taxis is further going to accelerate in Delhi during the trial run of the regulation.
