Major pipeline projects are under construction in Iran. One being the 1850 km long pipeline between Pakistan and Iran. Another pipeline project comprising the National Iranian Gas Co., would be a trunk line pipeline, and is expected to transport natural gas to Europe. The pipeline would be constructed between Basra to the Red Sea in Jordan.
