SGS Elemaster Private Limited, the joint venture between Syrma SGS Technology
Ltd and Elemaster Group, officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art
high-reliability electronics manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Located in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, the 20,000 sq ft facility is
equipped with advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Through-Hole Technology
(THT) and box-build assembly lines, established to address growing demand for
high-reliability electronics across railways and transportation, industrial
electronics, energy and medical electronics, while enabling the venture to
support global OEMs with quality manufacturing in India. The joint venture
combines Syrma SGS's scaled manufacturing capabilities, established
supply-chain ecosystem and cost-efficient execution in India with Elemaster's
decades of design and manufacturing expertise and its relationships with
European and global OEMs. The inauguration was attended by Dr. Giandomenico
Milano, Consul General of Italy in Bengaluru, along with leadership teams from
both companies and key customers, underscoring the strategic relevance of the
India–Italy industrial and technology partnership.

According

strategic bet on India as a manufacturing destination for precisely the class
of electronics that global supply chains have been slowest to relocate:
high-reliability, high-mix assemblies serving safety-critical sectors such as
railways, energy, medical devices and industrial automation. Unlike consumer
electronics, where scale economics have clustered production in China and
Southeast Asia, high-reliability electronics demand rigorous process control,
traceability, qualification cycles and deep engineering support capabilities
that justify a competitive manufacturing base in India and align with the

ambitions. The India–Italy joint venture structure is significant: Syrma SGS

Indian manufacturer with a European specialist to serve both local and export
