Singtel and Globe Telecom Introduced Cybersecurity Services in Philippines

The new initiative is being implemented in accordance with the Philippines government   

Philippines: Singtel Telecommunications and Globe Telecom has collaborated to provide Philippine enterprises with the Trustwave Managed Security Services to protect against cyber-attacks. The new cyber security services solutions are delivered through Globe’s Advanced Security Operations Centre (ASOC) in Manila, which is operated by Trustwave, Singtel’s managed security services subsidiary.

With the collaborative proposition to provide cyber security measures, Singtel and Globe has developed an ecosystem with global cyber security providers including Trustwave, Palo Alto Networks, FireEye, and Arbor to facilitate security measures through Globe ASOC. These managed cyber security services culminate vulnerability assessment, network security, application security & content security, endpoint security & access control and security management.

TechSci Research depicts that with the various government initiatives, coming into the action at global level, would enhance the demand for cyber security services in coming years. Moreover, with the advancements in technology, the adaptation of integrated cyber security measures would propel, as compared to the standalone systems, thus influencing the overall market of global cyber security.
