HONOR launched HONOR 400 Series with AI Camera

HONOR
has launched its latest smartphone series, introducing the HONOR 400 and HONOR
400 Pro in select markets. During the global launch event held in Paris,
France, the company revealed the key specifications and features of both
devices. The HONOR 400 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen chipset,
while the HONOR 400 Pro is equipped with the more advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon
8 Gen 3 chipset. The HONOR 400 series features a large display and comes with
up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The
HONOR 400 Pro claims to stands out with its camera system, featuring a 200MP
main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and
a 50MP telephoto lens, which also supports OIS. Both smartphones are equipped
with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging. Additionally,
the Pro variant supports 50W wireless charging. In terms of durability, the
standard HONOR 400 is rated IP66 for dust and water resistance, while the Pro
variant boasts a more robust IP68/69 rating.
The
photography capabilities of the HONOR 400 series are enhanced by the advanced
AI HONOR Image Engine, which introduces innovations to elevate mobile
photography. The HONOR 400 is the industry’s first smartphone to offer 30x
telephoto shooting with the main camera, featuring AI Super Zoom ideal for
capturing expansive natural landscapes or urban scenes with a focal length
range of 15x to 30x.
The
series also includes a suite of AI-powered photo editing tools such as HONOR’s
proprietary AI Eraser, reflection removal tool, and an “Outpainting” feature
that extends images beyond their original frame with realistic content
additions. A 50MP portrait selfie camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens support
various shooting styles, catering to diverse photography needs.
The
AI Portrait Snap feature, powered by the Capture Enhancement Large Model,
ensures crisp and detailed portraits even when capturing motion in daylight
street scenes. To enhance the aesthetic appeal of images, the HONOR 400 series
introduces the AI-driven Film Simulation Mode, which analyzes lighting and
subject details to produce cinematic effects that match the mood of each scene.
Additionally, the Harcourt Portrait Mode offers users refined lighting options
for creating elegant portraits. With these tools, the HONOR 400 series empowers
users to capture and preserve memorable moments.
