Premium Motorcycle manufacturer unveils F3 800 RC in India at USD30,000
INDIA: The Italian
superbike manufacturing company launch their latest motorcycle F3 800 RC
Limited Edition in India. Only 250 models have been manufactured by the company
globally where only 9 models have been launched for the Indian market.
Soon after the motorcycle
was launched in India the company received booking of five units. The limited
edition motorcycle has been autographed by Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanetti being
the only riders in factory team for MV Agusta in the Supersport World
Championship.
The F3 800 RC ID plates
are registered with limited edition serial number with badging of AMG embedded as
AMG holds about 25 percent stake in MV Agusta. The motorcycle is available in two
tone color, Pearl Shock Red
and Pearl Ice White.
As per the company, the
F3 800 RC is equipped with single-sided aluminum swing arm and mounted with
steel tubular Trellis frame. MV Agusta F3 800 RC is fitted with a 6-speed gear
box, having an engine displacement of 798cc, and is loaded with a
three-cylinder engine generating a power of 148 BHP at 13,000 rpm.
According to a recent report published

Premium Motorcycles Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2020”, India premium motorcycles market is
projected to grow at a CAGR of over 27% during 2015-20. Rising number of high
net worth Individuals coupled with an increasing number of premium motorcycle
players focusing on setting up domestic production or assembly units in India
are the major factors expected to drive the country’s premium motorcycles
market over the next five years. In 2014, Southern India comprising Hyderabad,
Chennai, Kerala, Bangalore, etc. dominated the India premium motorcycles
market, followed by Northern India.
As per TechSci Research, it is
forecasted that with market entry of international players, such as MV Agusta
in the Indian Premium Motorcycle market, the segment will get more competitive
and commencing of CKD and domestic manufacturing in India is also expected to
boost the premium motorcycle segment across country.
