Maxxis International Expands its Victra UHP Tire Portfolio

United States: Maxxis International has launched a new tire, Victra VR-1, which is an extreme summer tire. The tire has been introduced to its existing Victra line of UHP (Ultra High Performance) tires.

According to Maxxis, the VR-1 tire is deployed with a rubber compound that warms as per the operating temperature, very quickly and offers a resolute dry traction on the street as well as on the racing tracks.

The company added that the heat generated from the rubber compound of VR-1 cycles equally in the entire tire, ensuring a high speed for the entire life of the tire. The latest tread pattern was designed to maximize tire performance in dry weather, while minimizing obstacles in wet weather. The reinforced casing design of the new tire by Maxxis allows a comfortable manoeuvrability to the driver of the vehicle.

The VR-1 tire is rated at UTQG 200 AA A except for 295/40R18 (140 AA A) variant. The tire will be available in 7 different sizes, namely, 205/50ZR15, 245/40ZR15, 205/55ZR16, 255/40ZR17, 245/40ZR18, 265/35ZR18 and 295/40ZR18.
