Membat Expand its Portfolio of Flake Winter Tires

Membat incorporates 20 new sizes to its latest generation winter tires portfolio named Flake

Spain: Membat has recently launched tires in varied speed ranges i.e. 46 T, H and V with the diameter size ranging from 13 to 18 mm. With the different diameter sizes the Flake range tires are suitable for small city cars, SUVs as well as saloon cars. The Flake range winter tires exhibits outstanding properties in snowy and wet road conditions.

As per Membat “The directional tread design with high density of 3D zigzag sipes enable a high-grip on the road in case of snowfall and, in addition, driving stability enhancing a pleasant handling”. 

The tire tread has been designed to offer better performance and hydroplaning resistance on the roads. In addition to that, the tires exhibit increased braking and steering safety on the country roads. The 20 sizes of Membat Flake tires can be fitted on various renowned passenger cars like the 155/65 R14 75T for Volkswagen Polo or Vauxhall/Opel Corsa, 215/50 R17 95V size for Renault Laguna or a Peugeot 5008, 225/55 R17 97V size for Vauxhall/Opel Insignia or the 245/40 R18 97V and many more such as Seat Altea, Volvo V70 and Mazda 6.

According to a recent report published by TechSci Research , ”Spain Tyre Market  Forecast & Opportunities,2020”, the tire market in Spain is projected to reach US$ 2.85 billion by 2020. The replacement tire segment in the country accounted for the majority market share in 2014, and the segment is anticipated to witness higher growth over the forecast period as compared to OEM tire segment. Major factors driving growth in Spain tire market include expanding automobile fleet and growing automobile production in the country.

TechSci Research believes that, though Membat does not exist among top players in the tire market of Spain, however, by introducing the 20 new sizes of passenger car tires, the company is likely to mark its presence across the region in coming period. Also, the company would have to face a tough competition with several renowned brands present in the Spain tire market.
