DeNA Co., Ltd. Partnered with Preferred Networks, Inc. an Artificial Intelligence company

Tokyo: A Nintendo partner, DeNA Co., Ltd., a smartphone game providing company partnered with Preferred Networks, Inc., a US based artificial intelligence company to form a new joint entity named, PFDeNA Inc. The joint-venture company is equally shared by both companies (50:50), and would be led by DeNA Chief Executive.

PFDeNA Inc. would allow DeNA to strengthen their product portfolio in games, healthcare and automotive segment using artificial intelligence technology, while allowing Preferred Networks to leverage greater resources to strengthen their market position. Further, the partnership would provide boost to rising focus of Nintendo in smartphones games in the near coming future.

TechSci Research depicts that the growing demand for artificial intelligence in various applications, such as speech recognition, gesture control, cybersecurity, etc. across industries has paved path for the companies to invest and provide the artificial intelligence services to strengthen their product portfolio.
