Boltenstern GmbH Partnered with Cooksongold to Provide Customized Jewellery Products
Austria: A 3D printing Austria-based jewellery
specialising company, Boltenstern collaborated
with Cooksongold for developing and
providing customisable luxury jewellery products developed with the Precious M 080 Direct Metal Laser Sintering
System, a 3D printing system.
The
Precious M080 machine, developed by Cooksongold in partnership with EOS is
world’s first Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) system, designed exclusively
for printing jewellery and watches.
According to Marie Boltenstern, founder and
head of design at Botenstern GmbH, “The direct collaboration with Cooksongold
is a unique symbiosis and opportunity allowing for direct feedback between
design, machine, material and end-product in order to optimise and develop the
revolutionising production process.” She also added that development of luxury
jewellery using cutting-edge 3D printing technology would strengthen company’s
product portfolio in the market.

awareness level; rising demand for 3D printers for various applications, such
as jewellery, clothes, footwear designing, etc.; growing investment on research
& development by the different manufacturing companies coupled with growing
government support would drive the adoption of 3D printers in various end user
