Qualcomm optimizes Snapdragon 820 chipset for Google’s Project Tango
California: Qualcomm, Inc., one of the world
leading chipset manufacturer has announced optimization of Snapdragon 820
chipset series for Google’s Project Tango. Google’s Project Tango is aimed to
combine the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality experience. The company has
also announced Snapdragon 800 and 600 chipset series would also be optimized
for Project Tango and would support Augmented Reality technology.
Snapdragon
processors are able to process data from all five tango-related sensors and
three cameras at the same time. Lenovo
PHAB2 Pro would use Snapdragon 652 chipset, which is also optimized for
Project Tango would be available worldwide from September, 2016.
