Google announced 10 big things at Google I/O 2016
United States: Google, an American multinational
technology company had announced various new products, services as well as the
new improvements in its Android operating system (OS) along with mobile VR
platform that will come with the new OS. The 10 big announcements from Google
are as follows:
Google Assistant- which help the users in getting the
things done by understanding the 100 languages.
Google Home- a voice activated product, that enable
the users to communicate with Google assistant from any room in the house.
Allo- a new app with features like stickers
and whisper chat. With the help of this app the user can watch you tube videos,
search the web as well as playing the games. In addition, Google Assistant is
embedded in this app too.
Duo- an app for one to one video calling,
through this app the video calling becomes faster and reliable even at slow
network speed.
Android N- a new android operating system for
smartphones with advanced features like multi window mode, file based
encryptions, seamless updates, storage enhancements along with reduced battery
consumption.
Android Wear 2.0- an improved version of Android wear
for smart wearables which will make the Android Wear devices independent with
additional functionality.
Android Instant Apps- With the help of this app the users
can run any app with one tap without installing the apps.
Firebase- a platform that helps the developers
in building the high quality apps quickly and efficiently.
Studio 2.2- latest version of its integrated
development environment (IDE) with having firebase plugin.
Daydream- a platform for high quality mobile
virtual reality that provide users an entire ecosystem to play around in.
