RAD and Check Point Software team up on cyber security

Israel: RAD Data Communication, a leader in secure communications solutions; and Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a global provider of software products for IT security entered into the joint venture to offer an end-to-end cyber security solution that protects government and national utility assets.

Both the companies are combining their platform to provide the software package of security measures which includes identity management, encryption, authentication, intrusion prevention, anomaly detection, etc. The software package can be applied to existing networks and help in preventing against the various attacks such as distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, phishing, spoofing and session hijacking.

TechSci Research depicts that with these partnerships in the cybersecurity ecosystem would help the end users such as government, defense, energy & utilities to combat from cybercrime. Further, Asia-Pacific is also rapidly emerging as a prominent market for cyber security product and service providers, due to rising concerns of governments toward safeguarding their respective cyber ecosystem.
