TCS and Vistara entered into strategic alliance
India: A joint venture company of Tata Sons
Limited and Singapore Airlines (SIA) entered into the strategic partnership
with Tata Communications Services (TCS) for IT operation management. TCS would
be managing application maintenance services, airport infrastructure support,
network maintenance, end user computing, and other IT application for Vistara.
The
aim of this strategic partnership to help Vistara achieve the goal of customer
satisfaction, smooth IT operations, as well as to achieve the cost leadership
in the industry.
Apart
from the maintenance and support services provided to Vistara; the two parties
would jointly develop the state of art digital solutions and services. These
solutions would not be limited to deployment in Vistara but TCS would offer
these digital solutions to other airlines also.
A global market
research and consulting firm, TechSci Research depicts that the expertise of
TCS in airline domain, as well as the competency to build the new digital
solutions would help Vistara to achieve higher customer satisfaction. Further,
the alliance between Vistara and TCS to develop new digital solutions would
help the overall industry to maximize the technology utilization to provide
customer delight and higher revenue.
