‘Unnati Kendras’ inaugurated by Intel India across 10 towns in Telangana
India: In order to boost digitisation and
provide government related content across the country, Intel India has
inaugurated the UKs (Unnati Kendras) in 10 towns of Telangana. These UKs will
play an important role in enhancing the company’s programme of ‘Ek Kadam Unnati Ki Aur’, which aims at developing
an outline for digitising the non-urban population of India.
In
order to fulfil this mission, the company will work in partnership with the
major CSCs (Common Service Centers) through Warangal, Medak, Ranga Reddy,
Karimnagar, Adilabad and Mahbubnagar districts for motivating the PC adoption
relevance.
These
UKs will be managed by the trained personnel and fortified with the devices
powered by Intel. These personnel will look forward to the computer skills,
digital literacy and Internet facilities being provided to the non-urban
citizens and provide entrepreneurship, vocational, etc., related sessions to
them.
Further,
the content and training modules provided to the non-urban citizens will be based
on their local language to enable an easy understanding among them.

for the betterment of the citizens.
